January 1st
Had a ride up to Tamborine mountain which isnt far from where we live.  Found a few nice places, rivers to swim and fish in which no doubt we will return to some time over the next few weeks.

Tony had his job first interview today!!  It was with Warner Brothers as a maintenance fitter in tech services, the job involves repair and maintenance of the rides in their 4 theme parks (no wise cracks about height restrictions)  The interview went really well and he was told he would hear something by the end of the week!! Fingers crossed

Took the kids to enrol in their new schools today and it looked a really modern and friendly place, both of them are looking forward to starting on the 23rd.  We will be busy in the next few days shopping for the books pens and all the other stuff which you have to buy yourself in this country !!!  Total will be around $AU250

Tony got word today from Warner asking him to attend another interview on Tuesday 17th - looking good

Took the kids to get the school uniforms today and it seemed to take a life time and it cost an arm and a leg - Two kids came close to $AU750, and its not optional or subsidised !!

Set off this morning for Mooloolaba for a couple of nights to end our long adventure holiday!!  Mooloolaba is about 160km north and we have booked a 4.5 star penthouse apartment with a private roof top terrace and BBQ.  When we got there we got our eyes opened to how the other half live - it was pure luxury

Drove up to Noosa Heads for a look around and a spot of lunch, and the heavens opened, it did not spoil it as the drive was nice and the beech looked great.  On the afternoon we went to Underwater World and it was fabulous, we took loads of photos and we all really enjoyed it.
